Why a big gap ?

There's a huge gap here because during this time Eric was medically sedated and paralyzed. He was placed on something called ECMO. ECMO is basically a process like dialysis, but for your lungs. It filters the blood out of your body and through a tube into an artificial lung machine that is outside of the body and adds oxygen and removes co2 before reentering back into the body.

HLH Rash?

No one could ever explain what this rash was but it came and went over 5 or 6 days. It seems as though a lot of people who get HLH get it at some point.

The day before the ER

This was the day before the ER. 

One minute I was hot. The next minute I was cold. Nothing helped me get comfortable. I barely had a fever (99.7 highest) and was having severe joint pain. I had my wife bring the antigravity lounger inside! That was a loooong night!
